About

My name is Nicole Louisa Smith and these are my collected works. I have worked as a Designer, Art Director, and Illustrator.

I currently live in Los Angeles, CA and work full-time as an in-house Senior Graphic Designer at The Do LaB, an international event design agency, where I've been for three years. Previously, I spent six years with the national retail chain, Guitar Center, Inc., in event marketing and advertising.

My passions lie in art and music, and I strive to make a form of artistic practice a part of my everyday life. I pride myself on being able to design within a wide variety of styles, while still retaining a distinctive "look" that is recognizably mine. I believe in putting a part of myself into every design I create and endeavor to meet a high level of artistic integrity with every piece.

I play heavy rock music. I don't eat animals. I prefer the rain. I think people should rely on their smart phones less and each other more. I have an affinity for odd numbers, especially the number three. My fingers are double-jointed. I like to drive with the windows open.
